Below are a few questions that I receive quite often. If you have a question that isn't below, or are looking for more information than I have provided in an answer below, please don't hesitate to contact me!
How do I book a photo shoot for my pet?
Feel free to contact me by either going to the contact tab on the website, fill in the contact form, send me an email at email@example.com, give me a call or text me at (267) 342-4448, and I will get back to you as quickly as possible. We can then arrange a session together.
What happens after I book a shoot?
We will determine a mutually convenient time, date and location. I have several locations I can recommend and we will find a mutual location.
Do I get the image files from the shoot?
Included with your shoot you will get 5 high-resolution, digital images. For an extra cost, I can arrange for these to be printed and even in the size you would prefer. There is also
Do I get the RAW image files?
In an average session, I will take hundreds of images. Since not every image is useable, I will carefully go through an assortment of closed eyes, etc., to find the absolute best possible It’s my mission and intention to capture the whole “story” and then present it to you in a meaningful way! I use Photoshop and Lightroom for editing purposes.
What kind of pets can you work with?
Any! It would be my pleasure to take portraits of any animal, regardless of species! This has included dogs, cats, horses, goats, cows (and more)!
What if my pet is not trained or can’t be let off the leash - can you still do a photo shoot?
I have worked with all types of personalities, whether that means they can’t be let off a harness or leash, etc., I can work with you to ensure you and your pet feel comfortable and having fun!
Will I be able to join in the photoshoot with my pet?
Yes of course! In fact, those are my favorite shoots (capturing pet owners with their cherished pets). Completely your preference!
What if the weather is bad (for an outdoor shoot) or I cannot go?
If the weather is bad, we can immediately reschedule (at no extra cost, of course). Likewise, if you need to cancel for some reason and let me know 24 hours before the shoot, there will be no cancelation fee and we can work on rescheduling at no extra cost. However, there will be a cancellation fee of $50 if you fail to let me know that you will not be able to make it to the shoot 24-hours in advance.
When will I see the pictures from the shoot?
I will create, approximately five days after the shoot, a private client gallery that only you will have access to.
Do you do studio sessions?
Generally the photoshoots would occur either outside (on-location), this could be at a park or scenic destination, or they can occur in the comfort of your own home. Whatever is best to ensure that the pets are completely comfortable with their surroundings.
Why order photos through you and not a one-hour photo center other mass printing options?
The company I use for my photo printing utilizes professional grade products with archival paper and ink so the quality is superior to many one-hour photo centers or perhaps less expensive options. The quality of the finished products that are delivered is so important and I don't take that lightly! The colors of your prints through my store will be rich and high-quality, lasting indefinitely!
What form of payment do you accept?
Currently cash, check, Venmo or Paypal. If you decide to order photos from me upon our session, I accept all major forms of credit card as well.
What is your turnaround time for getting photos back to the client?
For a single session (pet photography, people, headshots, etc.), my goal is to get you your photos within 3-5 business days. If you need them sooner, please let me know and I will absolutely do my best to meet your timeframe!
